The Blue Ridge Foothills Conservancy will open their “Legacy of the Land” Photo exhibit the weekend of September 8 and 9 at Fimew Farm in Hood, Virginia with two events.

The weekend begins with Governor Tim Kaine opening “The Legacy of the Land” photo exhibit at a reception Friday, September 8, starting at 7 p.m. at Fimew Farm. Harvest Moon will cater this event and the cost is $ 125/person.

The annual meeting for the Blue Ridge Foothills Conservancy will be held the following day, Saturday, September 9, at 4 p.m. again at Fimew Farm in Hood.

Cate Magennis Wyatt, President of “The Journey Through Hallowed Grounds” will be the featured speaker. Conservation awards will be presented at this time. Hog Heaven will cater the main meal and Homegrown Blue Ridge will round out the dinner
