Christmas in Little Washington The Christmas Committee of the Washington Hospitality and Visitors Association has started to plan for this year’s Christmas in Little Washington event. It will take place on Sunday, December 3, and while no one is thinking about Christmas yet with all this heat, the planning has started. Last year everyone enjoyed the parade and this year we’d like to make it a bit longer so if your group would like to be a participant or provide a float, we'd like to know. While the parade is held on Main Street in Washington, we’re looking for participation from throughout the county. Please contact Denise Chandler at 6751200 or email her at dkchandler@adelphia.net or Anita Sherman at 675-3338 or email her at asherman@timespapers.com Wednesdays, September 6th and September 20th at the Rappahannock Health Department. Patient registration is from 5:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m For more information call the clinic at 347-0394. September 8: Plant Metamorphosis as a Living Idea Through exploratory drawing/observation and reflective meditation, we will work with Goethe’s Theory of Metamorphosis by living into the plants, seeing with the heart and mind to discover organic rhythm, structure, vitality and the underlying organizing Life principle in nature and humans. Tour of the Garden and Its Philosophy: Friday, September 8th- 6-7:30 pm. The tour is free, but you must register as there is a maximum number of people that can be accommodated. Preference will be given to workshop participants, who are strongly urged to attend this evening.
