Tuesday night, the Lady Panthers volleyball team handily beat the Luray Bulldogs, in all three rounds. “We usually struggle with Luray,” said Athletic Director J.D. Almond, “The girls did really well this year.” Neiters said that this years Luray team was the best he has seen in a while. “They had some heavy hitters.” he said.
Most of the girl’s team is back this year with five returning Juniors, many of them playing their second year on the varsity team. The only big loss the team saw this year was the loss of graduating senior Samantha Brown, the district .player of the year. Elana Kritter, now a Junior, was unable to play last year because she was a transfer student.
