Fimew Farm, owned by Trish and David Crowe, is part of the original 10,000-acre land grant given by King George II to Francis Conway in 1732. The house was built by John Conway in 1812. John was a first cousin to James Madison, who was also President of the United States at the time of its construction. Fimew Farm’s 265-acres were placed under conservation easement in 2005.
