Freedom High School from Loudoun County beat the Panthers in their first set with a score of 25 to the Panthers 20, however, the Panthers focused their game winning the next three sets with scores of 25-12, 25-12 and 25-11.
The Panthers third match pitted them against Briar Woods High School, also from Loudoun County. After a fierce struggle during the first set with a winning score of 27-25, the Panthers handily won the following two sets with scores of 25-8 and 25-9.
“The girls played really good volleyball,” said Varsity Volleyball Coach Jared Neiters, speaking about the tournament, “They ran more complicated plays that we have in the past and everybody executed really well.”
