On the Board of Supervisors, Eddie Wayland represents Piedmont and Bob Anderson represents Stonewall-Hawthome. Anderson is also the board’s chairman.
Aline Johnson and Ken Marlor represent Piedmont and Stonewall-Hawthome, respectively, on the School Board. Marlor is the board’s chairman as well.
County Administrator John McCarthy said the supervisors decided to switch to staggered elections to avoid having all five representatives change over at the same time, thus leaving the county with a completely inexperienced governing body.
