The girl’s and boy’s varsity soccer teams got a taste of the new field and a taste of Double “AA” competition as they kicked off their soccer season against Warren County High School on Tuesday.
The boy’s team tied 2-2 against the Wildcats. Defender Dugald Day Jr. scored the first goal followed by a goal by senior Arne Utne. Day said that the game was slightly frustrating since the Panthers controlled the ball for a majority of the game. “We could have made some better shots,” he said.
