April 1: ‘Dragonflies
and Damselflies”
There will be an April Fools Day program at 7:00 p.m. at Hearthstone School, “Life in Water and Air Dragonflies and Damselflies” by local arborist and naturalist Lyt Wood, sponsored by the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection’s Biodiversity Task Force. This free program is suitable for all ages and will include photos and prizes. Donations optional to benefit the Rappahannock Nature Camp. Note the early time to accommodate students and parents. April 2: “Raphael”
David Lowe, author and art historian from Oxford University, will return to Rappahannock County to continue his popular lecture series. This year Lowe will give a slide program on Raphael, one of the celebrated painters of the High Renaissance. Optional donations will be accepted to help cover the lecturer’s travel expenses.
