I don’t know if rumors are a sign of spring, but there’s a new one here in Amissville. Amy Hitt may be running for either School Board member or Supervisor. Rumor has it she’s circulating petitions for both. I’m confident Amy herself will let us know the truth of these rumors.
I mentioned the chili fund raiser here in Amissville a couple of weeks ago. Well, it’s happening this Saturday. The event to benefit Piedmont Softball will take place at Bill Payne Auction Gallery on U.S. 211. For $6 per person we get unlimited amounts of at least a couple of dozen kinds of chili.
