Day Celebration

The Inn At Kelly’s Ford and “AM Things Irish" (Rathuii) invite you to an Irish CeiK to benefit the State Theatre FoundaboaThe event will take place on Saturday, March 17 from 5 p. m. until midnight. The event wifl celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the Anniversary of the Battle of Kelt/s Ford. Tickets must be purchased in advance from the State Theatre Office at 307 South Main Street (727-7979) or from several Downtown merchants including Peterson’s Jewelers, Rathuii, Frenchman’s Comer, Comer Shelf Bookstore, Pepperberries, Second Bank and Trust-main office; Wachovia Bank, Main Street Office; and BB&T, Davis Street Office. Ticket prices are $35 for adults, $20 for students, and there is no charge for children under the age of 12.

of Directors Meeting

The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection Board of Directors meets at the Kbrary, with social time at 6:30 PM and business meeting at 7 p. m. Updates on our opposition to Dominion’s proposed electrical power transmission line through Rappahannock County, on the status of the county’s Draft Sludge Ordinance, and on plans for RLEP’s 2007 Alternative Energy Expo and Biodiversity Task Force programs win be heard. Match 20:4-H Tennis Club starts

AM 6th to 12th graders in Rappahannock County are invited to be part of a newly formed 4-H Tennis CkJb, led by foreign exchange student Abdullah Alawadhi and tennis professional Hunt Harris. Together they will lead dub members through the art of tennis playing, teaching att aspects of the game and introducing them to a new sport. Students can ride the bus from school to the County Park on Rt.
