Miss Deborah Lynne Furmage, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Irey Furmage of Falls Church, and James Fletcher Massie Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher Massie. of Amissville. were united in marriage on July 24 at 4 p.m. at First Christian Church in Falls Church. The Rev. Jack Austin officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride. given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white crepe chiffon with a modified Queen Anne neckline and a reembroidered Alencon lace bodice with clusters of seed pearls. Accents of Alencon lace appliques were repeated on the fitted sleeves. The Aline skirt fell from an empire waistline and was edged in matching Alencon lace and splashes of lace appliques, ending in a chapel length train.
