Bill King of Reston developed a flare for making tortillas and other Mexican foods while living in Arizona.
After King and his wife moved to Reston, it was not long before the word was out about his Mexican cooking skills. He was soon catering informal dinners and supplying local Mexican restaurants with tortillas.
King, who credits his mother for instilling him with his interest in cooking, eventually opened the Tortilla Factory in Herndon.
Kevin Leary, chef at Fritzbees in Reston, began his kitchen education after his father died when he was a young boy and his mother expected him to help her with the dinner.
