Edwin Atkins
Rappahannock Native Edwin William Atkins, 78, of Baltimore, Md., died on Wednesday, September 22, 1982, at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Jake and Alice Atkins. He was an employee of Lever Brothers, a soap manufacturer in Baltimore. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Judith C. Dodson Atkins; a daughter, Miss Judy Ann Atkins and one son, Edwin W. Atkins Jr., all of Baltimore. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the GeestJohnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. Steve Combs. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery.
