Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Patton and daughters at Stephens City.

Dudley Pullen and Bradley Pullen of Chester Gap were Monday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ivory Atkins. Mrs. Pullen is a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Gavor Foster, Chris Foster, Angela Facchina and Mrs. Ertha Corbin attended the Corbin family reunion held Sunday in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Foster and Mrs. Corbin later visited Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Corbin there.

Maynard Nethers of Stephens City was a Friday evening visitor of his mother. Mrs. Robert Nethers. Visiting Sunday were Mrs. Bob Lewis of Huntly, Charles Corder Jr. and Karen of Front Royal and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Heather of Sperryville.

Lynn Wood Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Jones of Sperryville, has been cast in St. Mary’s College production of “Sweeney Todd’.

Lynn has a part in the chorus of the Victorian musical thriller, which will be presented October 27, 28, 29, and 30 on the St. Mary’s campus. She is a high school senior at the intermediate women's college.

Bridge Party

Mrs. R. E. lhompsen was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club on Friday evening at her home.

Guests were Mrs. E. A McNear, Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer, Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. Brown Miller.

Prize winners were Mrs. Metzinger, Mrs. Mayer, Mrs. McNear and Mrs. Tabler.
