RCHS principal, Robert T. Chappell, announced today the name of a RCHS senior who is being commended in the 1983 National Merit Scholarship Program. At the next RCHS assembly, a letter of Commendation will be presented to Terri T. Tylek. Terri is the daughter of Mrs. Margaret Strawser of Amissville.
A spokesman for National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the Merit Program, stated, “To rank among the top 50,000 performers in a competition that includes over one million participants is an outstanding attainment.
