The best man was Michael Massie of Washington, cousin of the groom. The ushers were George Edward Williams of Flint Hill, E. Lynn Dougherty of Virginia Beach, Jackson Newbill Miller Jr. of Washington, Walter Trobaugh of Charlottesville and Douglas Andrew Furmage of Durham, N. C.
The reception was held at the Washington House in Falls Church. Prenuptial parties were given by Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Newbill Miller of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. E Barrington Lee Jr. of White Post. Showers were given by Mrs. Hugh Alban Thatcher of Richmond, Mrs. Richard Latham of Amissville, Mrs. Thomas Eastham of Washington and Mrs. J. Watson Hypes of Culpeper.
After a honeymoon trip to Charleston, S. C., the couple is residing in Amissville.
