Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest recently visited Robert Priest who is a student at VPI in Blacksburg. Mr. and Mrs. Priest also attended the World’s Fair in Knoxville, Tenn. Lisa Priest and Donna Bales, both students at University of Virginia, Charlottesville spent the weekend here with Lisa's parents. The Amissville Ruritan Club has scheduled their annual spaghetti dinner for October 23 at the Amissville fire hall. Mark it on the calendar, come out and enjoy the good food.

Mrs. Lucy Burke of Culpeper and Mrs. Liza Settle entertained approximately 30 relatives and friends on Saturday in celebration of Brew Settle's birthday. Mr. Settle is the father of Mrs. Burke and brother of Mrs. Settle.
Mrs. Michael Kelly of Warrenton, Mrs. Mattie Hackley and Mrs. Richard Hitt visited Miss Angela Hackley, a student at University of Virginia, Charlottesville over the weekend.
Mrs. Janice Cooke has returned home after being a patient in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.

Mrs. Thomas Massie entertained the Flint Hill Bridge Club Monday evening at her home.
Prizes were won by Mrs. L. B. Burford, Mrs. Earl Edmonds. Mrs. James Massie and Mrs. Thomas Eastham.
