Dr. E. Wayne Thompson, pastor of Engleside Regular Baptist Church in Alexandria will be guest speaker at the Black Oak Regular Baptist Church beginning October 3-0 each evening at 7:30.
Dr. Thompson has been preaching the gospel for many years, even carrying his religious message behind the iron curtain. He is very active in the Christian education movement t«>day and also very active in the Baptist Youth Camp located in Madison County.
The Black Oak Church which is located on Route 720 in Culpeper County extends a welcome to everyone to come hear Dr. Thompson.
Rock Villa Services
The Rev. Sidney E. Rodriguez of Culpeper will conduct worship services at the Rock Villa Mission on the first and third Sundays and John Dwyer. Administrative Assistant of the Madison County School Board will be the speaker on the second and fourth Sundays. Bible study is at 10 a.m, and worship services at 11. The public is invited.
Mt. Salem Services
Mt. Salem Baptist Church near Washington will have services each Sunday with Sunday School beginning at 10 a.m. and worship service at 11. James W. Burke of Chester Gap is the new pastor. Everyone is invited.
NAACP Meeting
The Rappahannock NAACP Branch will meet on Friday, October 1, at 7:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Washington. All members and interested persons are invited.
