Randolph Macon Academy's speedy Matt Simar crossed the line in 14:46 last Tuesday, just one second over the Blue Rock Farms course record. But Rappahannock had the next seven finishers to give the Panthers first place in the dual meet. 20-43.
"We're running really well as a team." said coach Ann Speiker. "Grouping is what counts when you come to district competition. If 1 can keep them grouped a little closer, we could take the district. But it's a tough district for cross country." she added.
