GREGORY, on trial in Rappahannock this week for the murder of his former wife’s lover stared alternately at the jurors and the courtroom floor as he clenched a ball of tissue in his fist. At right is defense attorney Jeffrey Rice. Gregory pleaded not guilty by reason of irristible impulse to killing Howard LaBove whom the defendant allegedly shot on August 20, 1080, on a farm near Middleburg. The trial which began Tuesday is expected to continue through Friday.
