1 cup sugar 2 tblsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp lemon juice 'A tsp ground cinnamon 'A tsp ground nutmeg one-eighth tsp salt Vi cup all-purpose flour Vi cup firmly packed brown sugar 3 tblsp butter or margarine
Prepare pie crust according to recipe or package directions. In a large bowl toss apples with sugar, 2 tblsp flour, lemon juice and seasonings until well-coated. Spoon into pie shell. In small bowl, combine 'A cu. flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter with a pastry bifender or two knives until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apples. Place pie in large, brown heavy-duty paper bag. Fold open end over twice. Seal with large paper clips. Preheat oven, 400 degrees. Bake 45-50 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Makes 6 servings.
