This weekend, considered the height of the fall foliage season by the National Park Service, offers a full schedule of events' for Rappahannock residents and visitors.
The 1982 House Tour and Dried Flower Arrangement Sale. is scheduled for Saturday. October 16 from 11 am to 5 p.m. and for Sunday. October 17 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. On this year’s tour are Mt. Prospect II. Cum berland, and the Conyers House. Tea will be served at Cumberland both days. The House Tour is sponsored by the Episcopal Church women of Bromfield Parish, as is the Dried Rower Sale, held at the parish halL
Appearing at the Gay Street Theatre is Next Yew, Jerusalem, an original play by Rappahannock resident Carla Eugster. There will be three productions of the Rappahannock Players drama: Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are available at Nature's Foods and Cafe in Washington and at the box office at the theatre.
On Saturday, the youth group of the Washington Baptist Church will be having a bake sale, starting at 9:30 a.m.
Also selling baked goods will be the Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday from 10:00
