BZA Vacancy

Circuit Court Judge Shore Robertson will be at the courthouse in Washington on Wednesday, October 27, beginning at 4 p.m. to hear citizens’ comments on filling the vacancy on the county’s board of zoning appeals.

Agreeing that the new member should be from Jackson District which, along with Wakefield District, currently has no representative on the board, the Rappahannock - ^supervisors endorsed J. R. Latham's nomination of Christopher Parrish at last week’s meeting.

In meeting with local residents. Robertson will hear expressions of support for Parrish or for other nominees before making his appointment to the quasijudicial body.

The new BZA member will replace former chairman Josef Gardiner who recently resigned.
