Chandler has already begun to develop a curriculum and recruit students. Chandler and his children have established the school as a non-profit organization known as The SPECTRA School, Inc. According to the architect, creativity through building will be a vital part of the curriculum. "A student from any level—high school through practicing architect—may experience creation at SPECTRA,” Chandler explained. “Students will be involved in every aspect of architecture from initial contact with the client through design and construction. It is intended that the first group of students will be involved in designing and building a windmillobservation tower on the site.”
