The Lady Panthers played an almost perfect first quarter of basketball in Tuesday’s home contest against Manassas Park but then fell apart in the third to pave the way for a Cougar victory, 30-42.
The RCHS girls didn’t just hit a cold spell in the third quarter—they had icicles hanging from their shooting hands, failing to score at all unitl the final two seconds.
As the game started, the Panthers appeared slightly rattled, after slooov oasses gave Manassas Park the opportunity to jump in front, 4-0.
