Macedonia Baptist The members of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill will be celebrating the 11th anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. James A. Price on Sunday, October 17 at 3 p.m. at the church. The Rev. Willie Cropp and his choir from St. James Baptist Church, Bealeton will be guests. Everyone is welcome. Gid Brown Bible Revival services will continue through Sunday at the Gid Brown Bible Church near Washington with Evangelist Jim Pruitt from Newport News. Services begin at 7:30 each evening. On Sunday, October 17, Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m. with worship service at 11. The public is cordially invited. Amissville Methodist October 17-22 Sunday: Sunday School - 9:45 a.m.; Worship Service - 11:00 a.m. - will be held at the Jeffersonton United Methodist Church Homecoming. Tuesday: Junior UMYF - 7:30 p.m. Wednesday: UMW Workshop - 9:30 a.m.. Cub Scouts - 7:00 p.m. Thursday: Boy Scouts - 7:00 p.m. Bible Study - 7:30 p.m. Friday: Christmas Play Practice - 7:30 p.m. Church Of God Revival services will be held at the Church of God of Prophecy in Sperryville from October 18-24 with services beginning at 7:30 p.m. The theme for the week will be Missions. The series will be sponsored by the Womans Missionary Band of the church. Everyone is welcome to attend.
