The building has a sprinkler system with smoke and fire alarms on all three floors, he noted. Harris reported that the school has recently been’l! contacted by the local health department regarding compliance with kitchen regulations. The two water pumps that serve the dormitory have already been approved by the health department “as far as I know,” Harris said.
He noted that the property is currently for sale. Wakefield has a two year lease which expires in June, 1983, Harris added.
Asked by Bird if sewage disposal arrangements have been approved by the health department, the dorm supervisors replied that he didn’t believe they had been. “I don’t know if we will be required to upgrade (the existing septic system).”
