String Clinic Planned
A string clinic featuring members of the Athenian Trio, the trio-in-residence at Ohio University, will be held at Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music on Saturday, October 23. The clinic is being offered to all string players and string teachers.
An open rehearsal of the Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, lectures on performance and literature for strings, and individual clinics will culminate with a concert by the Athenian Trio in the Goodson Chapel-Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m.
Complimentary tickets to string teachers and orchestra directors are available. There is a $5.00 student fee for all events, which includes the concert. The concert is open to the public and admission is $2.00.
