THE YOUNG DOMINION, popular Fauquier County 4-H performing arts group, is coming to Rappahannock on Saturday, October 23 to share some of their routines and stage knowledge with high school youngsters interested in the performing arts. An all-day workshop will include the Young Dominion and 25 Rappahannock High School students. At the elementary school that night, the Friendship Follies will be staged for the public to see what the youngsters have learned together. There will be music, comedy routines and dance. A high point of the evening will be when familiar adults kick off the performance. New stars making their debut are Robert Chappell, High School Principal and Robert Estabrook. School Superintendent, as well as other teachers and parents. The adult group will be practicing Friday night and the students all day on Saturday at the Elementary School. The performance will benefit the science laboratory. The Friendship Follies workshop and show was originally scheduled for October 16, but was postponed due to a conflict with the Young Dominion's schedule. Please note the change in date.
