The Rappahannock County Garden Club held its August meeting at “Belle Colline,” home of Grace Sims. Assisting Mrs. Sims as hostesses were Jane Herndon and Ruth Pillar.
Club members exhibited arrangements of fruits and vegetables from their gardens. Many blue and red ribbons were awarded by judges Florance Nordone and Rappahannock extension agent Birgitt Thornhill.
