Sky Meadows State Park in Fauquier and Clarke counties will open with formal ceremonies this Saturday, August 27, at 11 a.m. on the lawn of the park’s manor house.
Willard Scott, of NBC’s Today Show, will be master of ceremonies. Special guests will be delegates Alson H. Smith, Jr., Thomas M. Moncure, Jr., and Kenneth B. Rollins. The public is invited to attend.
