We would like to express our thanks to all those who attended the Memorial CPR course for Carl at the Castleton Fire Hall this past week.
It was an arduous and time-consuming undertaking and everyone who attended is to be heartily congratulated for having survived the very rigorous training provided by .James Grigsby and others from the Castleton Rescue Squad. James was a stem task-master, insisting on repeat after repeat until each procedure had been precisely mastered, regardless of swollen lips, shortness of breath, sore knees, etc. In life and death situations there can be no excuses of falterings; in his teaching, James allowed for none either.
