The Winchester Rotary Club is offering a $75 cash prize for first place, $25 for second, $20 for third, $10 for fourth and $5 for fifth. All contestants will receive a gold and red “Apple Pie Baker” badge imprinted with the name of his or her high school, three complimentary tickets to the twoday festival and other applerelated gifts.
Contestants must bring their pies—already baked and ready for judging—to Festival Headquarters Shelter in Winchester’s Recreation Park by noon on September 17. Judging will begin at 12:30. Winners will be announced and awards presented that afternoon.
