The two day orientation was a time for thinking, sharing ideas, having fun together, getting acquainted, and finding the way through the school corridors. This year’s crop of new teachers arrived at the Rappahannock school offices Tuesday.

During the afternoon program, superintendent Robert Estabrook discussed some educational philoso- j phies behind curriculum planning and instructional techniques. The new teachers received an overview of their responsibilities and also a crash course from bookkeeper Fay Suddeth in the fine art of filling out business forms.
