Revival Series

The Rev. Claude Cook, minister at the Culpeper United Methodist Church, will be speaking at the Sperryville United Methodist Church on Sunday, August 28 at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Cook is a native of Rappahannock County.

The Sunday evening service is the first in a fourday series, ending on Wednesday, August 31. The Rev. Merlin W. Shorb, is pastor of the Sperryville Church. The public is cordially invited to attend.

Rappahannock’s younger culinary artists will have a chance to show off their talents at an apple pie baking contest on Saturday, September 17, a new feature of Winchester’s Apple Harvest Arts, and Crafts Festival. The contest is open to high school students in the applegrowing areas of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
