Wine Festival
Host for this year’s Virginia Wine Festival will be Piedmont Vineyards of Middleburg.
The day-long festivities that begin this Saturday, August 27, at 10 a.m. will include exhibits by 30 of the state’s finest artisans and craftspeople, carriage rides through the vineyards and traditional Dixieland swing played by “Wild Bill” Whelan and the Dixie Six.
Tickets for festival are available locally from three participating wineries: Farfelu in Flint Hill, Rapidan River in Culpeper and Oasis in Hume. For additional information, call 687-5296 or 687-5368.
