Cattle from Washington s Ginger Hill Angus Farm came away with top honors at the 1983 Virginia Angus Breeders annual show in Harrisonburg.
Operated in partnership by J. Newbill Miller and sons Hodge and Brooke, Ginger Hill had one grand champion and two reserve champions among the 123 head exhibited at the breeders’ show.
Overall champion eow/calf honors went to Ginger Hill Royal Lady 99 and her February 12 Linebacker of Wye bull calf. Ginger Hill Darthvader was reserve junior champion bull while Ginger Hill Luther 3 was reserve bull calf.
Judge for the Angus show was Herman Purdy of Alexandria, Pennsylvania.
