grade teacher is a graduate of Goshen College in Goshen, II., where she met her husband, Greg who is the new fifth grade teacher. The Dreschers were looking for a school system where they could teach together.
The new kindergarten teacher is a first year teacher from Winston-Salem. She’s Kimberly Chesson, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Kathleen Wilson, of McDonald, Pa. is a first year teacher from Edinboro State College at Edinboro, Pa. She’s a special education teacher who will take charge of the elementary school’s educable mentally retarded programs.
Six of the nine new teachers go to work in the elementary school. Principal Maggie Piper says she also has a new teacher’s aid in the physical education program this year. She’s Dorothy Foster. So, when the pupils sit down on their first day of school next week, there’ll be a lot of new faces — on both sides of the desk.
