Also for local cancer patients, the unit maintains a loan closet in Flint Hill operated by Dolly Riddle and Kim Novak. Available free of charge are hospital beds, guard rails for beds, wheelchairs, portable walkers, leg braces and many other items. Through the district office in Winchester, ostomy supplies can also be obtained. Equipment for cancer patients can be delivered if pick-up is impossible, Konick said.
