The Herndons always "plant lots of ginntaa outside” and also have two hot beds in front of the house for less hardy varieties, she says.
Because she also participates in the other stages of creation, Jane is concerned about the appearance each plant will offer to the overall arrangement. They spend several months during the winter studying the seed catalogues to choose plants which have bean easiest to preserve in the past.
