RAAC Committee Meets
The executive committee for the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community will meet on Tuesday, April 10, at 4:30 p.m. in the RAAC offices at the rear of the Gay Street Theater.
Scouts Hold Magic Show
A magic show and bazaar featuring The Little Professor Edwin Smith will be presented by Cub Scout Pack 123 at the elementary school on Sunday, April 8, beginning at 3 p.m. Admission is $1 for students and $1.50 for adults.
In addition to fun, games and tricks, the show and bazaar will offer a handmade quilt to be given away as a fund raiser for the Scouts. For information on the quilt, contact any Scout or leaders Cecily Kohler, Sean Kilpatrick, Judy Tole, Will Brown or Paul Nichols.
Performing Arts Featured
Big Band jazz, dance, theater, films, symphonies and choral works will be showcased at Shenandoah College and Conservatory’s Fourth Annual Festival of the Performing Arts in Winchester on three consecutive weekends, April 58,12-15 and 21-23.
