Sherrie's Herb Vinegar
Cut fresh herbs in the morning and spread on a rack until the leaves are limp. Chop into small pieces and pack into a measuring cup, figuring on 1 cup of herbs for every 2 cups of apple cider vinegar.
Heat vinegar almost to the boiling point. Pour over herbs in a glass jar or erode. Cover with doth and let steep for 3 weeks. Strain and bottle.
Good herbs for vinegar are basil, chives, tarragon and lemon balm. Use one or a combination.

From the audience, School Board member Nancy Reeve suggested that Gilkey review the repair project, adding that the Chester Gap contactor is more knowledgeable on construction and innovation than any of the School Board members. “Then maybe the board would feel more comfortable (in approving the roof repair work),” Reeve said.
“I certainly would —absolutely,” Estes responded.
“We had the same problem with the fire hall at Chester Gap,” Gilkey reported. “We ended up putting an A-roof on. It was the only way we could solve the problem.”
Supervisor Lane, former memberof the School Board who has dealt with the roof issue in the past, volunteered to work with Gilkey.
‘This is ia serious problem. . . We just don’t have any choice,’* concluded Supervisor Clarence Baldwin as the board voted to guarantee funds for the emergency repair project.
