Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bolyard and family in Keyser, W. Va.

Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Carter and daughters, Margaret Scott and Elizabeth of Eagle Rock and Mr. Carter’s mother, Mrs. Margaret Carter of Selma were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and Fred.

Dinner guests Sunday of Mrs. A. W. Sisk and son, Bill Sisk were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Taylor of Warrenton, Mrs. Donnie Keyser and Chris of Slate Mills, Mrs. Charles Brown and daughter, Laura of Keswick, Mrs. Geraldine Blevins and Teresa Sisk of Fairfax.

Mrs. Mary Quaintance entertained at two tables of bridge on Saturday night. Her guests were Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Carter of Eagle Rock, Mrs. Margaret Carter of Selma, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser and Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Baumgardner of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Frances Tabler and Mrs. Brown Miller. Prize winners were Mrs. Buddy Carter, Mrs. Tabler and Mrs. Margaret Carter.

Mr. and Mrs. James Swindler, Mrs. Lee Swindler and Mrs. Roy Swindler had dinner Saturday evening at Brookside near Luray.

Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins returned home Saturday after spending the winter in Florida.

Mrs. T. M. Johnston was a Friday and Saturday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Meade, Bethany and Broocks in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Brown Miller was a guest Saturday of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and mrs. Lin Bashaw in Woodstock. Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Bashaw had lunch at Springhouse Restaurant. Sunday night Mrs. Miller attended the baccalaureate service at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Haywood for the nursing class of Piedmont Technical School.
