It is now time for the local team to guard against over-confidence, says faculty advisor Roger Flinchum. For it was at this point last year that Rappahannock was eliminated. The Panthers’ Pop Quiz team had taken the first two of the five rounds, then lost during the third round of the quarter-finals.
Flinchum will see to it that this year’s crack team composed of Ann and Will Oliver, Cheryl Achison and Jonathan Watson don’t go soft. He promises he will keep their brains well exercised between now and the next step towards the state championship.
