RAAC Showcases Talent

SperryviUe 4-H Club To Meet

The SperryviUe Community 4-H Club will meet on Monday, April 16 at 7 p.m. at the Sperryville fire hall.

All members are urged to attend and youngsters between the ages of 9 and 19 are invited to join. For additional information call Barbara C. Burke at 987-8058.

Benefit Diliner Planned

A benefit dinner sponsored by the Speriyville Ladies Auxiliary is being planned for Saturday, April 7 at the SperryviUe fire haU. The menu consists of country ham, barbecue chicken, vegetables, dessert and beverage.

Serving time wiU be from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m., with carry-out dinners available from 4:30 until 5:15. Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $3 for children and may be purchased from any member of the auxiliary or at the door. For more information caU 987-8802.

Two Local Singers

The Front Royal Oratorio Society presents Brahams’ “A German Requiem” on Sunday, April 8, at 7:30. It will be performed at the Boggs Chapel at Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal.

Local Society members Barbara Gentry and Joan St. Clare are among the singers.

Joint Concert Offered

The Christendom CoUege Chorus and the Early Music Consort wiU be giving a joint concert on Thursday, April 12, at 8:00 p.m. in the Front Royal United Methodist Church. This free program is open to the pubUc.
