Our community has a new, free-lance photographer! She is Lorrie Young, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William H. Young. In Fairfax last Saturday, she won “Honorable Mention” in the 1984 Vienna Photography Contest which is held each year for amateurs. Our best wishes and congratulations to Lorrie! She takes photos of weddings, portraits, pets, etc.
It was a fun-filled house for Howard and Helen Hols' chph this past weekend as-, their daughter and son-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Parry, and their little ones, Jason and Lorien, came for a relaxing visit from North Huntingdon, Pa. There was plenty of chatting to be done since the family hadn’t been together since last Christmas. In Pennsylvania, Tommy’s whole family operates a successful “Flower Shop”. Last Christmas, they grew over 1400 splendid poinsettias and now, just as many gorgeous, delicate Easter lilies. Tommy, an avid fisherman, spent last
