Three Rappahannock students were winners at the annual state leadership conference in Williamsburg for members of Health Occupations Students of America. Local participants from Piedmont Tech were among approximately 900 attending.
State competition was held at Williamsburg in early March. The meeting allows health students from throughout Virginia to gather for the contests and election of officers.
Piedmont youngsters placed in 10 of the 14 competitive events. During these events two Rappahannock students took first place honors.
