Cathy also bears witness to the fact that many come but few leave. Even the teens of the church stop by the parish hall once or twice in the fall to try their hand at arranging. They are the churchmen who will run the dried flower sales of the future.
And all because Dorothy Davis took a dried flower arrangement to the Thanksgiving dinner back in 1964. “Dorothy’s arrangements inspired me and she wanted my house on the tour,” says Flossie. That’s how it started.
