The choice does not depend only on taste preferences. The text on the boxes varies. The medallion box, for example, encourages the reader to take up river rafting, especially in rubber rafts. It also says a good word for raccoons, with no mention of the possibility that the coon is rabid.
The thin mints box is less controversial in its text. It encourages tree planting, informing the reader that among other things, pencils, baseball bats and toothpicks are made from wood.
