Volunteers are needed by the Blue Ridge Hospice's Warren County Chapter.
Towards that end, a 24 hour training course for volunteers is being offered, beginning Monday, April 23, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the conference room at Warren Memorial Hospital. The course will conclude June 25.
Hospice is a concept for care for the terminally ill and their families. Its objective is to provide relief from pain, fear, loneliness, guilt and anxiety for the patient and family. Its goal is to enhance the quality of life — to live and die with dignity.
